Like Charlie in ‘’Charlie and The chocolate factory’’ Relko Restoration and Masonry Ltd got a golden ticket in the form of a contract order to restore the dining block at Cadbury’s Bournville Birmingham. The restoration of the brick, natural stone and concrete were carried out in conjunction with Balfour Beatty’s major alteration & building project.
Relko Restoration and Masonry secured the contract of the renovations of the retained external masonry elevations after several intense interviews with Balfour Beatty and Cadbury’s Clerk of works & Governors. They required evidence of several key factors to ensure the right contractor was chosen to restore the retained elevations and facades. Relko shone through with flying colours providing the best presented & informative quotation, report and proposals for restoration. Following sample trial areas of cleaning and repairs Relko completed the restoration works on time, on budget and to all parties expectations.
